Midwest Group is proud to contribute to various organizations through the donation of our time, energy, and resources.
In addition to financial contributions, Midwest encourages employees to participate in activities which enrich the city, community, and its members.

When families are given the opportunity to own an affordable home, they become financially stable and rely less on social services. They become part of a larger community where everyone can prosper and thrive.
We are proud to say that we’ve helped contribute to this phenomenal cause. Ten members of our team volunteered their Saturday to participate in a Build Day on June 9th, 2018. After being split up into groups, each person was assigned different tasks throughout the day to help build the units. In addition to a full day’s work, our staff raised $2,500 – which was then matched by Midwest Group for a total donation of $5,000!

On Tuesday, March 6th, some Midwest Group staff members had the incredible experience of volunteering with Brown Bagging 4 Calgary’s Kids (BB4CK). The organization has one goal: No hungry kids in Calgary. Working with local schools, BB4CK makes over four thousand lunches each school day to provide the basic nourishment needed for each child to learn at full potential.

The year 2018 marks a significant anniversary for Midwest Group and we decided to celebrate with 30 days of kindness to celebrate 30 years of service. Rather than spend time and money on fancy parties, we wanted to give back to the community that helped us get this far. The month of January initiated our year of #MidwestGivesBack by taking our time and resources to the streets. We shoveled our neighbours’ walk, bought coffee for the car behind us in the drive thru, supported local entrepreneurs, thanked city workers, and celebrated our staff!
